HARPOLE NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN REFERENDUM RESULT
The referendum was held at the Bowling Club, Larkhall Lane on 27th July and the results were as follows:
Ballot Papers Issued 582 (46.9% turnout)

Votes in favour 540 (92.8%)
Votes Against 39 ( 6.7%)
Spoilt Papers 3

The plan was therefore passed and will go through to SNC to be confirmed as an official planning consideration.

JUNE 2017 UPDATE NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN REFERENDUM

The Harpole Neighbourhood Plan was approved at the SNC meeting on 14th June so will now be going to a Village Referendum on July 27th. The Polling Station will be at the Bowls Club, Larkhall Lane, and polling cards are currently being sent out by SNC. A copy of the plan and the associated documents are currently on display in All Saints Church, Harpole.

MAY 2017 UPDATE ON NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN PROGRESS

* The Planning Examiner's report was received in March , and a number of updates were made following that report.
* Harpole PC has agreed the updated Neighbourhood Plan, and it has been submitted to SNC.
* We expect that at the SNC planning policy meeting on 14th June they should confirm that the Referendum can go ahead on July 27th.
* Once this has been confirmed more information will be provided for Harpole residents.

Details of the Neighbourhood Plan and how it was put together are listed below, with background downloads from a number of Agencies representing the major policies with which it complies. The Neighbourhood Plan was forwarded to South Northamptonshire Council (SNC) and approved for their 6 week consultation process at their Committee Meeting on 21st September. The consultation will run between 03 October 2016 and 12:00pm Friday 11 November 2016. The public notice advising proceedure and availability is downloadable below.

In view of the proximity to substantial housing allocation within the Parish as part of the West Northamptonshire Joint Core Strategy, Harpole was granted Front Runner Status which has financially enabled the plan, following initial funding from the Parish Council and The Big Lottery Fund..
